Leslie Tucker Klatt Leslie Tucker Klatt brings a wealth of experience to her position as General Manager of Elements Restaurant. She also brings a passion for catering. She has been involved with catering throughout her career, and understands what it takes to be a successful caterer. “You must have exceptional attention to detail in order to create an unforgettable and memorable event,” she explains. “Elements is well respected as a caterer, and I want to add to that strong reputation.” Tucker Klatt joined Elements in the fall of 2007, and has sixteen years of food and beverage management experience in Santa Barbara. She started as a hostess at the Wine Cask Restaurant in 1992, working her way up to General Manager during her eight years there. She, along with partner and chef, David Cecchini, opened Restaurant Nu in 2001 at the popular Santa Barbara address of 1129 State Street, and successfully operated the eatery and catering business until 2007. Her strong catering background will enhance the Elements catering team, promising to provide memorable experiences, both on-property and off, for corporate parties, charitable events and gala weddings.
British born and raised in Yorkshire, England, Bernadette Pometta ventured to the United States in 1984, beginning a career in the hospitality industry. Pometta worked for several prestigious restaurants in Los Angeles before moving to San Francisco in 1996. There, she handled corporate special events for Transamerica Corporation. Later, she was named Maitre D’ Hotel for San Francisco’s Fairmont Hotel. In 2000, she found Santa Barbara, and fell in love with the beauty of this picturesque city, working as Assistant Banquet Manager for the DoubleTree Resort, and later, as Banquet Manager for San Ysidro Ranch. In August, 2004, she joined the opening team of Elements Restaurant. “It’s exciting to be part of the team that opened Elements four short years ago. In addition to being a very popular restaurant and bar, Elements has exceptional catering capabilities, and I’m delighted to be part of that.”
